DALLAS (April 22, 2021) – Buether Joe & Counselors, LLC – an intellectual property and commercial litigation boutique law firm – is pleased to announce that Matt Harper has joined the Firm as Senior Counsel. Mr. Harper will work with the other members of the Firm in high stakes intellectual property and complex commercial litigation.
Mr. Harper's practice is focused primarily on high stakes intellectual property lawsuits and complex commercial litigation. He has successfully prosecuted and defended numerous clients in patent, trade secret, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, intentional and negligent misrepresentation and other complex commercial lawsuits. Notable trials include representation of a global telecommunications company in a patent litigation in multiple venues across the United States and abroad. Matt was formally an IP litigation partner at Thompson & Knight and Dentons. His prior tenure as in-house counsel at Nokia further allows him to understand and appreciate his clients’ business objectives through litigation and licensing of their intellectual property.
